This club was started some 27 years ago to help residents learn about computing.
Discussions are encouraged to clarify subjects so that all of us can benefit from the expression of opinions and experiences.
As a group we try to resolve computer related problems and distribute information about the many viruses, software problems or bugs, upgrade information, technical news and many operational procedures.
Ours is not a teaching center, but rather a learning area to help all, from beginner to advanced.
Our association with the Boca Raton Computer Society has expanded our member help area and provides even more opportunities for advanced learning.
Our meetings are held at 1:30 pm on the second Thursday of the month at the main clubhouse.
The annual dues for membership in the Huntington Lakes Computer Club
is $10, payable in January. Those joining at any time other than January
will have a pro-rated fee.
Although our club is an affiliate of the Boca Raton Computer Society, those members desiring to join the BRCS will pay a membership fee of $45 to
them, and it will be considered as a separate and distinct membership.
There are benefits to both memberships.
